Being Quiet
They said they knew
what caused my coma -
just a little hematoma
just a bloody little clot
formed by straining at a thought.
It may come as some surprise
that they didn't realize
I was never even close
to being rendered comatose.
It's just that life was such a bore
and I had a craving for
something new - I thought I'd try it -
I just call it "being quiet".
